I think they need to stop milking this franchise, as 1&2 are enough in this series & were too similar to mention, then they come along with another rip-off that should have been $10 dlc for DR2 is the Case Files or whatever it's called, that really is only different in the character you use to trudge through the same enviroments, & with some different, but ultimately samely objectives. Yet MS already stated & have made there ambitions clear to heavily target the younger & more casual audience, yet nobody bats an eylid or bothers with this kind of negative press....The media hate for Sony will never stop.
Sony have been, & still are the only one of the WHOLE three that all styles of gamers & game tastes.
Oh, & the PS4 & Vita are the combination you need to compare, & fact is that the PSVita looks fricken awesome, the PS4 will be a monster & bury Wii-U specs wise.....so thats the only comparison fair to make, as PS3 is instantly coupled with PSP, & goes up against Wii & 3DS, which is a no-contest that works out infinately in PS3/PSP's favor, no question.
I guess Nintendo plan to keep there momentum rolling by releasing another under-powered psuedo next gen machine with another gimmicky controller, for a lower (than the other maxed out tech in 720 & PS4) price point, & capture quick sales & a nice lead, also enabling them to be 1st on market this time, which will also help them to have a constant lower retail cost on there machine over there rivals.
The Wii-U will obviously be more powerful than PS3, as stated...

Just finish games already in development, & move mostly all Sony inhouse & as many 3rd party developers over to PS4 development. Resistance 3 sales are abysmal...but I'm assuming these are U.S. sales figures only, and I'm pretty sure R3 would garner better numbers from Europe....well, I hope so anyway, as all the Resistance games for me have had better campaigns than the COD's & most other console fps's, although R2 was a little dissapointing compared to 1.

It looks like Wii-U will be left behind in tech by both 720 & PS4, as I would hope & think they would both be smart enough to have AT LEAST 2gigs of ram. PS4 even moreso, needs to include bigger ram after splitting there 512mb in half for different functions & it being very difficult to unite the whole 512mb for textures & the like (but it was possible, contrary to what some would have you believe).

It was always going to be a problem when they decided to make a handheld system with this much alleged power, but no physical media to hold the game info on. They should have used an improved umd drive for new games & backwards compatability. I'm sure they could layer more info on the disks like is done with dual layer dvd & blu-ray, etc,etc.
